Enter the prescription as doses (e.g. quantity 15) or days — reminders stop by themselves when it's finished. Leave both blank for ongoing meds. "With meal" reminds early so there's prep time; "with snack" reminds right on time. This dose starts the clock.

Vet-prescribed strict-rest window — the dashboard counts the days and you get a nudge when it ends. Conservative IVDD care typically means ~4 weeks of strict rest; use the length your vet prescribed. Clearing the date ends a started plan and archives it below, trimmed to the days it actually ran.
A nudge when the recorded weight is older than this — the weight-drift watch and the daily water target both read it. 0 turns the reminder off.
Reminds you when the next dose is due — X hours after the last one you logged. Meals and "with meal" meds remind early by the prep head start; "with snack" meds remind right on time. When a with-meal med lines up with a scheduled meal (within an hour), the meal reminder covers the prep and mentions the med.
Ask your vet first. Med reminders normally sound even during quiet hours; with this on, a dose due in quiet hours waits until they end — but never longer than this limit.
